Internet disconnects for 1 second every 5-30 min. Need help

Like I know this isn’t the place to ask this, but I have been calling them and been on their online help desk for half a year and this problem is still not resolved. We have gotten 2 replacement modems and while they were good for 1-3 days the problem comes back after that and all their suggested fix doesn’t solve anything.
I live in a house with 5 other people and there’s 4 netflix running around 10-12 hours a day (I guess?). So if they are throttling us from usage let me know.
No one is using torrents, there are only 3 computer in the house and I checked for bitcoin miner and torrent and nothing of the kind.
The problem is hard because the routemodem doesn’t die, so on their end they don’t see any errors. It’s annoying because when I play video games and sometimes stream or on discord the 1 second disconnect will be a 2-5 minute reconnect. And that adds up through the whole day.
I am thinking of just switching providers at this point but since it’s not in my name I’m not sure if there’s a contract tied to it. If there is can I use this a reason to get out of the contract? We all pay for the internet anyway and everyone here is frustrated about this problem, I’m just the one that always calls shaw and talks to the tech they send here.
Edit: fixed the solution was getting a router and going bridge mode.

Once every Bitcoin has been distributed, what will be the incentive for miners to check transactions moving forward?

How to check for and disinfect bitcoin miner

If you downloaded Just Cause 3 XL Edition RePack-SEYTER OR Far.Cry.3.Blood.Dragon.MULTi2.RePack-SEYTER and installed the repack, you should check your computer for a bitcoin miner. If you got any other recent repacks from Seyter elsewhere, I'd recommend checking those games as well. Better safe than sorry!

The disinfection instructions:
P.S Malwarebytes Premium detects bitcoin miners instantly. I recommend everyone go get a copy.

GPU Idle Temps way too high, help!

Hey guys, I have a problem. Hoping you guys know what's up!
My GPU idle temperatures are way too high on standby. They idle at about 51°C (124 F). This is ridiculous, that's how much I get under full gaming load while playing Witcher 3. This is absolutely not normal. My usual idle temps hefore we MAX 30°C!!!
Look at this shit, its not even being used yet its at 53°C : http://i.imgur.com/UdQeWlx.png
My CPU seems to be having a giggle too (related?): http://i.imgur.com/1UyPEyw.png
Things I already did to fix it:
  1. Checked for dust, my computer is super clean, so no dust
  2. Checked for bitcoin miners hiding in my system, no dice
  3. Switched PCIE slots, nothing changed
  4. My airflow is awesome, no issues there
I was going to change the thermal paste but the card was fine like 2 days ago, so I doubt the thermal paste decided to go to shit so fast, it would happen gradually.
My system: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/hfFfcf
EDIT: FOUND THE SOLUTION. Thank you Nugmast3r
So the problem was with me setting up the POWER MANAGEMENT MODE in the NVIDIA Control Panel to "Maximum Performance" and not "Adaptive". As soon as I put on "Adaptive" back on, my temps dropped DRAMATICALLY!

[Tech Support] Does Skype cause high GPU temps for anyone else?

Been having a perplexing issue.
Noticed today that my GTX 780 is sitting at 65~ to 70 degrees celsius with no game running, at 31% TDP average and GPU Load at 0%.
https://i.imgur.com/Ib0Iole.gif
Went through a troubleshooting loop:
Finally used Nvidia's GPU activity display function and it showed the only program using the GPU was Skype.
Shut down Skype and TDP & temps instantly dropped, this is just mere seconds after shutting down Skype, with temps normalizing a bit later: https://i.imgur.com/XIE5sCv.gif
Sadly, due to Microsoft shutting down the Skype third party access APU there are no alternative clients, and i can't currently afford to not use Skype for a lot of things, mostly business related.
Skype itself doesn't seem to have any options to toggle hardware acceleration and the only "new" thing i'm noticing in it is an "Install HoloLens add-in" option.
What gives?
EDIT:
Fucking hell Microsoft, what kind of goddamn spaghetti code are you running?! Even the bloody web version of Skype does the same shit: https://i.imgur.com/FwUDoCF.jpg

Random GPU and CPU Power Being Drawn When Idle??

As of recently, my GPU's and CPU have been really loud and hot. I've done a lot of research trying to fix it yet have not found any real solution. I've checked for Bitcoin Miners using ProcessExplorer, but to be honest not exactly sure what to look for, and used Malware Bytes. I've changed Power Management on Nvidia Control Panel to Adaptive (Usually have it on Prefer Maximum Performance; which hasn't caused a problem before) which keeps GPU power down, but the fans are still loud (Maybe CPU). I just dusted it a few hours ago. I've also tried all settings on PCI-E Power Management cause I usually have it set to off.

Just wanted to express some thanks for the ideas put out there! Some good stuff was mentioned that make me think this project is viable on my budget.
I can at least do a proof of concept on some level, and I likely will start working on it in earnest some time tonight.
This may be a bit of self advertising, but I feel it's worth mentioning that I live stream a good bit of code development on Twitch. And I may well stream the early stages of this bot's development later tonight after I get back from the office.
